This clarinet sells at auction for $200-300 in good condition. Simply type in your serial number and voila! Upper joint was pinned but looks/sounds like it did not affect the playability of it. I have searched many of the serial number sites, but haven't had any luck in finding a year or model. Selmer Paris clarinets in various years through the 1980s had markings Selmer Buffet Leblanc Armstrong, Artley, Jupiter, Pruefer, and Rossi Other Clarinets.
I’m not exactly sure what the last one is, but I have owned 132k’s with neck serial still there. The most accurate serial number range for 1927 was finalized as 5300 – 7280.
This is a beautiful, fully refurbished, Selmer Signet Special wood clarinet.
If you ask them, EXCESSIVELY NICELY, about a serial number off a horn you own, they might tell you when it was made.
